District 3 sits just north of District 1 — calmer, more local, with older French-era streets and some of the best cafes in the city. A good balance of convenience and authenticity.

Cafe Apartment buildings (the original on Nguyen Hue spilled over here), the Vincom Plaza on 3/2 Street, and Tao Dan Park anchor daily life. Independent restaurants and boutique apartments dominate; expect smaller buildings with more personality and fewer pool decks.
